Perched on Halkidiki's eastern peninsula, Mount Athos is a Greek treasure that's strictly off limits to visitors. But you'll get a good look at the place with this full-day boat trip. Cruise by the cliff-hugging monasteries of the world's only monastic republic before anchoring up for lunch onboard. Stopping at nearby Banana beach, there'll be time for swimming and sunbathing, too.

The description did not say that you would be transferred to a different boat for banana beach. We had to wait 20 minutes for this boat. The boat felt very unstable and the man running it was rude and unfriendly. We had to jump off the boat onto the jetty on return to Ouranopoli with the boat not even tied up, one lady fell. The food on banana beach was not good and it was a difficult trek from the jetty to the beach which had not been warned about. There was nobody from TUI on the trip

This excursion was great for us, younger people and children I would think would find the morning part of the trip very boring, the boat was packed so we weren’t in the sun at all in the morning which I would have preferred. I would have preferred more time at banana beach and less time going around Mount Athos.

Boat trip was really interesting and full of facts, but not too much to bore you. Banana beach was amazing good food and really quick service. Well worth the money

Es war unklar, welches der Ausfugsboote unseres war. Wir mussten uns durchfragen, da es nirgends einen TUI-Hinweis gab. Das könnte man besser machen.

Having to jump off the boat at the end of the trip. A bit dangerous
