Mix it up with a day of cultural exploration and natural wonder in Nea Moudania. Begin by getting to know the local way of life at the traditional market. Spend half the day shopping for unique handicrafts and lace while haggling for the best deals alongside the friendly locals. Then delve into the depths of Petralona Cave on a guided tour, where the sculptural stalactites make a real impression.

You are only paying for a bus service. This was also sold to us that it was good for children it was not. Maybe had we just gone as a couple this would have been better but it was sold as a family trip and this was not suitable for children. Lots of hidden added extras as well and several different bus changes. Wouldn't recommend

The market was ok but it was just a basic fruit and veg market on one side, and clothes and tat on the other side. Went for a nice coffee near the harbour. The caves were brilliant, but despite this excursion including the words “cave tour” in the title, the admission fee was not included. This was 10€ each. The rep in the hotel failed to mention this, so it was completely dishonestly mis-sold. You are paying for a coach transfer.

Basically you are paying for transportation only. The markets good but probably cheaper to get a cab. We then had to change coach to go to the caves which we then had to pay entry for. The cost for transportation only of €42 each was a rip off. Both coaches were over subscribed and some people had to stand up. If you are paying for transportation only there should at least be a seat surely?!!!!!

The price of the tour is massively overpriced for what it is. €42 for a bus transfer to a village and the caves and back including the tour guide. We had x2 coaches of 60-70 people, this surely needs reviewing plus in this cost it didn’t included the €10 for the cave entry fee or the €5 for the museum. Perhaps I’d have been more satisfied of the cost if these tickets were included in the €42 pp.

Positive: Pleasant, informative guide. Negative: Not good value for money. Was not informed by TUI hotel Rep we would be changing coaches, was chaotic. Was informed we had to pay at site for Cave entrance & transport to cave, but not that there was also a Museum entrance charge. Market visit - Uninteresting, poor quality & expensive items. 'time wasting' experience. Again, on written notice at front of coach ' We don't expect tips, but we thank you, if you don't. Not acceptable behaviour.
