An essential part of the Paris skyline, the Eiffel Tower is the most iconic attraction in the French capital. Standing 330 metres tall (including the antenna) and built from wrought iron, the tower welcomes millions of visitors every year.
Gustave Eiffel designed the Eiffel Tower for the 1889 World’s Fair. The original plan was to dismantle it after twenty years, but thanks to its immense popularity, it still stands today. You can visit the Eiffel Tower with tickets for either the 2nd floor or the summit: the 2nd floor offers spectacular views across Paris. In contrast, the summit provides the highest and most exclusive panoramic experience.
