It's just a one-hour ferry ride away from Kamiros Port, but a visit to Chalki feels like a trip back in time. Rugged and arid, it's the smallest inhabited island in the Dodecanese. The only village, Emporio, is all pastel-coloured cascading down to the waterfront. Enjoy free time to mingle with the friendly locals, swim in a secluded beach or take selfies by the dinky chapels dotted throughout the island.

Ein sehr schƶner Tagesausflug, der gut organisiert war. Auf Chalki 5 1/2 Stunden Zeit. Das passt gut, genĆ¼gend Zeit zum Baden und fĆ¼r einen Abstecher in eine der gemĆ¼tlichen Tavernen. Unbedingt im Programm beibehalten!!!

Es hat mir alles sehr gut gefallen. Transfer zur Insel mit Bus und Boot hat gut funktioniert. GenĆ¼gend Zeit auf Chalki! Das Boot war etwas zu voll, viele hatten keinen Sitzplatz.

Beautiful destination. Glad we booked the free time option. The town was lovely. Locals very friendly and helpful. Beach nice. Destination atmosphere was excellent. Bus was late arriving at port as the traffic was busy. Therefore the boat waited for us and we were rushed on and some instructions not very clear as a result. The cafe recommend by the rep wasnāt great.

Insel war megaschƶn. Meer und Strand einfach sehenswert. Top Restaurant mit Hammerausblick aufs Meer, Essen uns Service spitze. Megatoll zum Schnorcheln. Am Schiff war es sehr heiss, Klimaanlage Funktion? Busfahrt mit Abholung einwandfrei. Buchung Ć¼ber Tui Reiseleitung Peter, leider keine Delfine wie angepriesen gesichtet. Wurde uns versichert welche zu sehen. Sehr schade. Preis fĆ¼r Busfahrt und Schiff ok. Gute Organisation, wurde auch alles auf Deutsch erklƤrt.

TUI guide was very helpful and available throughout the day. Only slight issue was that there was no air-conditioning on the upper deck of the ferry which meant a very hot, stuffy journey, but obviously not the fault of TUI, however, it's just something to address with the ferry provider. Our coach driver Donald was very good,safe driver. Beautiful island, very friendly atmosphere throughout and good day.
