For a day spent discovering the hidden treasures of the Aegean Sea, you can't beat this cruise. Spend time in the picturesque harbour town of Vathi, grab lunch in a traditional taverna and then cast off for an afternoon at the Blue Lagoon, with bright, turquoise waters ideal for swimming in.

Picked up from your hotel and taken to Kos port, you'll board the boat ready for a day at sea. Sail towards Kalymnos island where you'll stop off in the quaint harbour and village of Vathi. Take some time to stroll the seafront, before setting off to Pserimos island. Along the way, you'll have the chance to admire the picture-postcard views of Plati's coast. And once in Pserimos, you'll head to a local taverna for lunch.

Then, it's time for the main attraction – the Blue Lagoon of Pserimos. Clear, shimmering and warm waters that are a palette of blues practically beg you to jump in – and you can. Choose to cool off with a swim or stay on board to catch a few rays before taking the leisurely cruise back towards Kos.

Het varen was al een ervaring op zich. De eilanden waren ook prachtig. De lunch was ok op een mooie plaats. Echter zou de geluidsinstallatie van de boot es meten bekeken worden. We zaten aan de box zelf en konden niets verstaan van wat er gezegd werd.

De gids was slecht te verstaan door de gebrekkige audio installatie aan boord. Verder vond ik de stop bij de blue lagoon echt veel te lang. Bijna iedereen was al aan boord en toen moesten we nog een half uur wachten. Die tijd dat ik liever op de andere twee punten wat langer besteed. Verder was het een leuke tour, schattige eilandjes bezocht, en prima lunch aangeboden gekregen.

In 2019 deden we deze excursie ook, maar sindsdien is alles echt verbeterd. We hadden een fijnere boot met vriendelijke bemanning en onze reisleiding was fantastisch! De sfeer op de boot was daardoor heel prettig. Vorige keer kregen we op de boot alleen wat souvlaki, dus we waren positief verrast toen we hoorden dat de lunch deze keer verzorgd werd door een restaurant op Pserimos. Ook de tijd bij de verschillende stops was beter verdeeld. Wij hadden het geluk ook nog eens dolfijnen te zien!

The kids loved jumping off the boat. Shame there wasn’t really time to swim at the beautiful beach on the second stop. The meal was very average. Staff on board were nice and friendly.
