Samana Cayo Levantado and Playa Rincon

3.8/5
8 reviews

This tropical escape is a bucket-list must – and here's why. After a short bus ride to Cañitas Pier, you'll hop on a boat to Cayo Levantado – aka Bacardi Island – for ultimate beach vibes, coconut palms, and a delicious Dominican lunch. Then, keep those sunhats on because next up is Playa Rincon, where turquoise waters and palm-lined shores await, followed by canoeing through Caño Frio's mangroves. You'll wrap things up with a city tour of Samana, then it's back to your hotel.

The both tour guide ( Nata amd Penny were excellent, very experienced and helpful). The tour is quite long , I would recommended to devided it in 2 days to have more time for each srop and see more attractions being already in Samana..

The trip was good but it felt like there was too much. The trip was in multiple languages and Definetly there was elements left out for those not Spanish speaking. The trip was also split in two with some doing a non advertised tui trip and others the one we had booked. The beaches were amazing and lunch good but alot of travel and very little explanation in English of what is going on. The tour of Samaná was non existent and was a bloke showing us a few bits from a mini van with no explanation.
