Half day at a market transfer

4.1/5
163 reviews

The harbour town of Los Cristianos on the south coast of Tenerife plays host to the island's largest market. And it's here where you'll be able to browse for souvenirs, gifts and goods to your heart's content. You'll head over for a morning of shopping and soaking up the local vibe.

If you fancy a morning of retail therapy then the bustling market at Los Cristianos has all the bases covered. You'll head on over to the seaside town in the morning to while away a few hours browsing all the stalls stocked full of anything you could want, such as souvenirs, leather goods and handicrafts.

And if you find yourself feeling tired of all that haggling, then simply take the time to stop for a drink and soak up all the atmosphere at one of the many waterfront cafes and bars. At lunchtime, we'll head back to your resort ready for an afternoon's relaxation.

I was disappointed and it didn’t feel like an authentic market with traditional products. Just a lot of stalls with fake designer stuff and a few genuine craft stalls. The place was a pick pocket’s paradise and with no warning about this I’m glad I was very aware and took sensible precautions. However I saw a lot of people wandering around that could easily be picked off by such individuals. The tour reps were ok but no real enthusiasm or engagement. A lot of money for a poor trip.

If we had known the market was in los Cristianos we could have taken the local bus at a cost of 10 euros return for 2 people instead of paying £28 for 2people Don’t waste your money on this trip Get the bus!

The coach arrived at our hotel on time and a TUI representative advised the passengers about the length of the journey and gave tips about keeping our personal possessions secure. She also advised us that we would be met by a second rep on arrival and that he/she would provide further information. Unfortunately the second representative didn’t appear and it was left to the coach driver to advise about the location of the market, pick-up point and departure time. The driver didn’t speak English.

It was a lovely time out of the hotel and I got quite a few things at the market. And a nice walk a long the front and stop for a coffee which was ok .but yes if you want to go out it's a good price to go on a Tuesday
