We had a lovely view of the dolphins & whales - I didn't eat much food as I'd had a big breakfast, but the meatballs were tasty! The sea was calm, so I didn't feel unwell. I was glad the music wasn't blasting out & enjoyed the selection of tracks My only complaint was journey from Puerto de la Cruz took 2 & a half hours on the way there :-( much faster on the way back- less traffic. I refused to have my picture taken, as they are always awful!!! The guide said "it's their job" which annoyed me.

The experience when out on the boat was brilliant. We saw dolphins and whales and the crew explained so much about them. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was that the transfer was two hours ! It took so long to get there as there were so many pick ups. Then the same on the return!

The Royal Delfin 4 hour tour itself was fantastic, with friendly staff, safe facilities and opportunity to see the landscape of Tenerife from sea. And of course dolphins/whales - we saw 3 types on the journey and the team did not pursue at any point. The only downside was the journey to the marina, which took 2 hours/same getting back - meaning we started at 7am and returned home by 8pm (staying in north). The pick up point map/description on the booking is useless we had to a rep in the end.

The coach picked us up at 12:20 as arranged. We then drove for an hour before stopping outside another hotel and proceeded to sit there for over an hour. No communication from the driver who was sat outside smoking and watching football on his phone. Eventually another couple arrived and got on the coach, before we moved off again. Getting there actually took about 3 hours but the destination is only 40 minutes or less from the pick up point. Start to finish 8 hours. Kids were exhausted.

Bus pick up was on-existent so we couldn’t go. I’d like a refund.

The crew were fabulous! Very helpful and informative. We saw lots of pilot whales and spotted dolphins followed the boat as we were returning to dock. The captain took the time to explore many different areas to ensure we saw the wildlife. Great experience! The only negatives were the food (bland) and the coach driver who was extremely rude to many….an unhelpful and unpleasant demeanour. He clearly hates his job and should look for another one. I did mention this to the Tui rep at my hotel.
