The fairytale Amalfi Coast is a magical mix of steep hills, cobalt sea and scattered pastel villages. On this full day tour, you'll enjoy a guided tour and free time in Amalfi, before a ferry ride across to Salerno.

You'll start with a scenic bus journey along the Amalfi Coast, with Insta-worthy views from stop until start. Arrive in Amalfi for a guided tour that'll give you the lowdown on all its hidden gems and stories. After soaking up some history, you'll have free time to wander. This is your chance to live like a local for a bit – grab some of the best pastries around or chill with a beer in the lively main square, watching the world go by.

The adventure continues with a ferry ride from Amalfi to Salerno – a whole new way to see the coast's beauty from the water. Wrapping up the day, you'll catch your ride back to Sorrento from Salerno.

It was an easy experience eg transport, seats, guide. Someone else took the strain out of driving. Seeing new places (Positano/Amalfi/Salerno). It was a multi-modal experience (land and sea). The pick up was 40 minutes late possibly due to traffic but bearing in mind the area of Sorrento, this should be taken into consideration to allow for delays. There was a very brief 'tour' of Amafi town (10 mins) so didn't learn an awful lot but were given over 2 hours free time to find out for ourselves.

The guide,Adriano, was excellent-he took care of the group and was very informative. The driver, Vincenzo, was excellent too. The roads along the Amalfi coast are very narrow & he drove with skill.

Would have liked to have stopped less time at Amalfi and maybe stopped somewhere else also

Mario, our guide, was fabulous - very knowledgeable, funny and just an all round nice guy. We added on an extra 45 minute boat ride which filled the time in Amalfi lovely.

Beautiful coastline. Davida the guide was excellent. Amalfi far too busy for me. Glad I went but wouldn't go back. The ferry to Salerno was enjoyable. It's a long day on the bus make sure to have plenty of water.
