Heraklion airport VIP service and lounge

The staff were good The WiFi wasn’t The food offering was awful Drinks were good but tbh nobody bothered No toilets was dreadful and the public ones were flooded Basically I paid for fast tracking which in normal circumstances I wouldn’t worry Might go to Crete by boat next time

You need toilets in the lounge

I purchased fast track departure at Heraklion airport. Tui check in did not know what the service was, there were no other Tui reps in the concourse. We could not find anyone who recognised the printed form. Security at entrance to the gates advised it was a lounge pass only so we had to join a very lengthy queue. Complete waste of money and added to the stress of getting through the airport. Pointless and a complete waste of money. Don’t bother. I will be posting this on other forums.

No choice of food except rolls. If you’re on a diet and can’t eat bread, not very helpful. Also cakes and biscuits again fattening. No healthy choices. It was cool in there and the staff were great. Plenty of choice of drinks though.

Worth every penny. Airport is manic but you just get guided to check in and they check you in - no waiting on line - security - lounge (air conditioned) - then collected from the lounge for passport control. Lounge food offering isn’t great but it fills a hole and drinks offer is good.

Being able to go to the front of both the bag drop and security queues was amazing! The whole process from arriving at the airport to being seated in the lounge took 15 minutes!
