Abades is a sheltered and shallow bay on the southeast coast of Tenerife – an ideal spot for snorkelling. You'll be joined by expert instructors and spend the day discovering the underwater world and the variety of marine life in the waters around the Canaries.

With the dive centre located right on the beachfront, it's just a short walk to the water's edge, so you'll waste no time slipping on a snorkel and fins and diving in.

Instructors will accompany you at all times, and we'll snorkel around the bay to discover the underwater world from above. What's more, the beach has all the facilities you might need, so you'll be able to bring the whole family for the day, too.

Loved the snorkelling but, tbh, used to being with a guide who spoke mostly English. The girl spoke mostly to the Germans and Dutch, the jokes, the craic, etc. Felt a bit left out at times, but that's probably what everyone else feels when they speak mostly English. So that's not really a criticism. The fish were amazing, Abades was lovely during the day time, but seems to have a reputation for pilfering, which was, thankfully, nothing we noticed at the time. Little local coffee shops were great

The experience was excellent but after we had to wait 2 and half hours afterwards in the heat to get a ride back with nothing around apart from a cafe and 1 shop.
