The coves of southeastern Majorca are renowned for their tropical beauty – white sands washed by crystalline turquoise waters. This catamaran trip glides past Cala Mendia, Cala Anguila, Cala Falcó, Cala Varques, Cala Millor, Punta de n'Amer, Cala Bona and Cala Petita, with a well-deserved swim stop in Cala Morlanda. Utter bliss.

This wasn’t a boat trip excursion like l have gone on with TUI in the past; it is basically a bus service between various towns along the coast. The swim stop was particularly disappointing; the boat only stopped for about 30 minutes, and it stopped so far out that it wasn’t possible to swim to the shore and back or see the bottom of the sea. It might have been the conditions on the day we went, but the water was definitely clearer at other (non swim) stops along the way.

I feel the description of this excursion was misleading. The name suggests a glass bottom and therefore underwater viewing, not a few windows in the side that gave a view just under the waterline. However, most disappointingly it was advertised as an excursion stoping to visit markets, then sailing to a cove to swim snorkel &feed fish. The reality was that it is a ferry that stops to pick up passengers then a 15 minute swim in deep, choppy water with no visibility. Not for families with kids!

This isn’t a boat trip. Massively disappointing, ten minute swim stop if that. Did 5-6 pick ups , wouldn’t recommend as a boat trip and is completely mis sold.

Awful. It should’ve been cancelled (the day before was). Boat was late arriving so we were left standing on the pier in the heat with a 3 year old and 10 month old. Water was so rough half the people on the boat were vomiting. Staff were walking round handing out sick bags. Unsafe to stand up to get my little girl an ice cream or to go below deck. Didn’t stop for a swim as water so rough. Got off early and got the bus back to Cala Millor. TUI would not refund but offered ‘goodwill’ 50% gesture.
