You know you're on holidays when you find yourself in sunshine with a balmy sea breeze washing over you. On this cruise, you'll explore the local waters off Samos' east coast, with stops at two of its most enticing beaches – Posidonio and Megali Lakka – as well as a barbecue lunch.

Sailing from Pythagorio in the morning, you'll glide through the Mycale Strait, which separates Samos from Turkey. Pass by remote beaches and uninhabited islets – and with luck spot some dolphins. Your captain will drop anchor off Posidonio beach, and you can either swim onshore or hop on a dinghy. After an hour, we'll sail for the pine-fringed cove of Megali Lakka, which is accessible by our boat only.

Here, you'll be able to relax or swim while the crew rustles up a barbecue lunch on board, washed down with juice. After about three hours, it's time to sail back to Pythagorio.

Had a fabulous day. It was a very long day but everything was great. The swim stops were perfect. Lovely juice and two lots of fruit were offered plus a cup of wine. It’s important to take water shoes/crocs to get in the sea . The bbq was delicious and plentiful . It was lovely seeing it cooked fresh on the beach, Definitely recommend.

Crew were very experienced and friendly. Would have preferred if the cruise was a little shorter by say an hour. Did not receive or was offered the glass of wine with the bbq lunch as advertised.

Lots of coach pick ups on the way. Boat crew very nice. Automated instructions on board we're odd. Couldn't the boat crew do this? Food was great and generous. At least one more swimming stop would have been nice. The walk from the boat to the bbq beach would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Overall a good day out.

should be highlighted not a good trip if you have mobility issues. long walk through town from/to the coach/boat. Have to climb across rocks form the boat to the beach stop for lunch. Charging for drinks with your lunch was not good - not even free water. Lunch was nice but everyone all sat together on big tables, sharing plates of bread and salad may not be great for some people ie if have young children.

The trip was ok, however there were too many people on the boat, not in an unsafe way just because there were few places to sit comfortably, less is more. The atmosphere was a little subdued if I’m honest it could have been so much more with better music and fun. The swim stop and BBQ was fantastic but with so many people the beach umbrella situation was a bit of a bun fight. The trip back was long, no stop so 90 ish minutes was a trudge but overall a good day out

Had a fabulous day. It was a very long day but everything was great. The swim stops were perfect. Lovely juice and two lots of fruit were offered plus a cup of wine.
