Santo Domingo Tour by Viva

All good... Could of had a couple of choices with meal... (vegetarian).. Not updated on pickup time... Ticket said 08:30 but actual pickup time was 09:20... Overall a good value for money experience.....

It was very organised and informative. I have done this excursion twice now. The caves were beautiful, the guide was very knowledgeable. The only thing I personally didn't like is the time spent at the shop they took us to. I understand that the locals earn their money by selling to tourists through such excursions, but we spent over half an hour in a souvenir shop where prices were higher than other shops, and we had 1 hour free time to walk. We could have had more time walking and exploring.

The tour was interesting and the caves were great. It was tiring and the food at the lunch stop was just ok but the tour guide Wellington was excellent and very helpful.

The guide was very good but there were too many people on it and he had to say everything in 3 languages. Would have liked to learn more about the country. Excellent stops in the morning. The lunch was dreadful and the serving staff were surly. We were seated in the kitchen and treated with disdain. A pity as potentially this would have been an excellent tour. Few people on it in a maximum of 2 languages with a better choice of lunch venue.
