Adults-only turtle watching

Disappointing experience, lack of communication from the staff, some staff incredibly rude and didn’t give much information about the turtles, I was told it was going to be educational, but most of the time we were left sat alone on the beach waiting, for hours! Seems to have become a money making scheme and unfortunately the animals are not prioritised; 2 turtles were scared away from the beach due to the amount of people crowding & the staff shouting, oversold and expensive for the experience.

The while experience was overwhelming

It was beautiful to finally see the turtles, it was a magical experience. However, would have been nice to have been made aware that you could be waiting 2 hours to see one and to wear clothes that cover because of the insects. There were a lot of people on the beach and other companies do not follow the safety and protection of the animal which was sad to see. Tui however was incredible and very informative of keeping the turtle safe and not cause them upset.

Brilliant experience. Our guide, Cami, was knowledgeable and friendly. Even though it was early in the season, we still saw a turtle laying, a.d then covering her eggs and then she vanished back into the ocean. Would recommend

I would advise people to take a jacket as it gets bit chilly on the beach while you're sitting waiting
