Mother Nature might as well have designed the beaches and dunes of Sal for quad biking – because they're ideal for this adrenaline-pumping activity. We'll take you to the world-famous Kite Beach in the southeast of the island for an experience that'll get your races pulsing. You can choose either a two or four-hour quad ride.

You'll be picked up from your hotel and we'll soon be making a beeline for the island's famous salt plains. Once you've trundled past Serra Negra mountains and the white salt flats, you won't be far from Kite Beach.

This beach gets its name from the legions of kitesurfers who come here for the huge swells and high winds. This excursion is almost a whistle-stop tour of the island – with a rip-roaring bit of fun in a quad being the icing on the cake.

Recommend people to take a face covering for the dust as we did, helps a lot.

Overall the experience was one of the best, if not the best Quad experience I’ve ever done…. Yes there’s always a concern for safety, especially as a back seater but at least you have the helmets. Photo and the end with prices at the end could be.looked at, €30 for all photos sent on email is pricy, there wasn’t even an option for a single photo purchase.

This is a great tour- different company to the buggy tour but still really friendly and good. No coveralls but they air blow you off after. Full face helmet so wear sunglasses under. Only 400cc but much faster experience than the buggies- great fun for adrenaline. Only suggestion would be for them to have a tissue to wipe the helmet visor as it got damp then the sand made it hard to see through it. If you do 4hr tour wear close toe wet shoes or crocs as you can see the lemon sharks free

We have had a lovely time on the quads. Got a opportunity to purchase pictures that were made during the tour and saw beautiful parts of the island. Tour ended with a visit to the pub on the beach where we had some bice refreshments. Would definitely recommend.

Good guide staff, level of instruction tailored to the least competent driver. Not rushed in anyway, and we paid for a got a full 2 hour ride, no corners cut. Variety of riding terrains, short breaks for pictures and hydrate, saw a lot of the off the beaten track Sal, highly recommend for a bit of fun adventure.
