Living in the coastal subtropical waters around Sal, lemon sharks are one of the easiest sharks to spot in their natural habitat. You'll venture out to Shark Bay with a marine biologist to interact and learn about these fascinating creatures on this half-day trip.

After pick-up from your hotel, you'll drive to Shark Bay over on the east coast of Sal where your lemon shark experience will begin. You'll wade out into the water with a marine biologist, who will guide you step by step and teach you all about this incredible species.

Spot their yellow-tinted skin – ideal for camouflage in the sandy shores – and watch them as they go about their business, twisting and turning, and looking for fish just a few feet away. You'll see their fins cutting through the surface of the water and get to know these sharks closer than you could imagine.

We have travelled with Easy jet but booked this trip with TUI as easyJet didn’t offer it. We wanted a short trip not lots of different things. The guide was very knowledgeable and respectful to the environment whish is what we wanted. No frills or pressure to add on to the purchase. The trip provided exactly what it said it would

The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us informative information on the way there, while there and on the way back. Due to the very windy condition and the colour of the lemon sharks they were sometimes hard to spot, they were also fast! Definitely take full water shoes or rent tent them when there. It is rocky under foot, although we were told we don’t need waterproof camera or case as the water is clear, I would recommend taking one.

It was good that the guide did not use bait to attract the sharks he just let it happen naturally and he was very knowledgeable.

The young lady from Holland was very friendly and had a good open chat with group well done ??. Please bare this in mind I sman Union Chsirman and speak to hundreds of members so was good experience the biologist for being young showed excellent communication skill and highly advise you keep hold of her in the future she has a bright future ahead of her ????
