Pick your way along the challenging 8km route of Imbros Gorge, surrounded by wonderful fauna and the steep vertical walls of the ravine. There's also a refreshment stop in Komitades, and the opportunity for a swim in Hora Sfakion.

As you stroll along, take in the views over the White Mountains as you head up to the starting point – the mountain village of Imbros. Here, you'll set off on your 3-4 hour hike, following pathways through wildflower meadows. The going never get too rough underfoot and the gradient is a gentle descent.

Enjoy a well-earned break at the end of the trail, with plenty of free time to take a refreshing swim in the waters off Hora Sfakion's tranquil beach or grab a bite to eat.

Wir sind als Paar gereist wir haben den Ausflug direkt im Hotel gebucht uns wurde mitgeteilt das die Fahrt 2h beträgt. Wir wurden dann mit einem Taxi abgeholt und zu einer Autobahn Raststätte gebracht wo uns dann nach einiger Zeit ein Reisebus eingesammelt hat. Die Fahrt zur Schlucht hat ca. 4 h gedauert da wir noch einige Zwischenstopps eingelegt haben. Die Wanderung in der Schlucht war auf 3h 30min begrenzt und war unsere Meinung nach sehr anspruchsvoll und nicht für Kinder ab 13 Jahren.

Die Schlucht an sich sehr sehenswert und toll und weiterzuempfehlen 👍🏻 Aber die Busse werden so voll besetzt mit den unterschiedlichsten Hotels, so dass sich die Transferzeit auf unzumutbare Weise ausdehnt ( 8 Std Transfer zu 2,5 Std Schlucht) Leider wird dies im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert, auch nicht auf Nachfrage. Die Transferzeit wird auch kaum für Infos etc genutzt. Preis/ Leistung passt gar nicht.

La 1ère partie de la grotte est belle mais la seconde est décevante. Des explications par le guide dans le bus mais aucune informations pendant la randonnée. C'est dommage ! Comme pour le déjeuner qui n'est pas compris dans le prix de l'excursion. ********** idée de terminer par la plage de Ficia.
