Heritage, local products and a pre-historic forest combine to make this a hiking tour to remember. First up, you'll visit the beautiful city of La Laguna in northern Tenerife. It's historic old town a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Browse the farmers' market before enjoying a moderate hike to Las Mercedes, an ancient laurel forest in Anaga Rural Park.

Enjoyed the Hike. Informative and the guide struggled to translate scientific words into English, but he did his best. Would have liked a little more time in the city, but understood the schedule. It didn’t help that the bus was late at the start! Worth the money.

Our guide Teresa was great. She was highly knowledgeable and interesting. Although the hike was listed as moderate , I found it challenging , however Teresa encouraged me to maintain a pace comfortable for me. She has a lovely sense of humour and great enthusiasm . I would have like more time in La Laguna to visit the museum that focused on Canarian history. However this is a half day experience.

enjoyed seeing more of the countryside of Tenerife on easy well maintained paths. Would have liked more information on the splendid buildings in La Laguna. Our hotel pick up was simple and on time but was totally fed up going round and round trying to find people from other pick up points so that needs to be sorted for everyone.
