Supercat Dolphin Search Premium

4/5
417 reviews

Once you're aboard the Supercat catamaran - one of the biggest sailing catamarans in the world – you'll cruise off southern Gran Canaria in search of dolphins. The calm, warm waters here are home to many of these amazing creatures. Then you'll anchor down for some swimming, lunch and relaxation.

Catch the breezes on deck as you watch for your first glimpse – you'll often just see a fleeting shadow or flash of dorsal fin before a playful pod surges into view. Then, with a bit of luck, you'll be treated to an incredible show as they leap, plunge and race through the water alongside you.

After a couple of hours searching for dolphins, we'll head to a bay in the southwest of the island where you'll be able to sit back, relax, dip your toes in the ocean or enjoy a banana boat ride. There's even an on-board hot tub and a bar flowing with beer, sangria and soft drinks as well as a tasty lunch on offer. A perfect way to unwind and top up your tan.

The trip found dolphins which was a good point. Too many people on board to get a good service at bar, so had one drink. Glad I took my own water. Told to get food while boat was still moving and had to eat down in cabin where there were no seats until people had finished theirs. ( Been on other trips and ate on deck while moored for swimming.) All rushed as we went back to harbour. Were not aware, to drop people off who had only booked to see dolphins. Did 2 hours got off not relaxing or fun.

Fabulous experience had. Was very lucky enough to see a few different pods of dolphins. Nice swim and banana boat ride! Was nice not to have an over crowded boat. seats are comfortable with an option to hire sun beds at €20. If you pay for premium all local beer. Sangria and soft drinks included and no need to purchase plastic cup. Staff were extremely friendly and entertaining during the trip. Only bad point was return transfer. Left waiting in extreme heat for 45 min for bus to turn up.

We bought a premium 4 hour trip and lunch with banana boat ride. Any other time I’ve done these even with TUI You did not Have a 2 and 4 hour trip on one boat. Return after 2 hours to drop others back off. Excepted to eat lunch bobbing on the sea normally anchor up it was horrible. Banana boat was left until last minute and all they done was promote anything extra they can sell. This is classed as misinformation and mis selling.
