The Yellow Submarine is as much a part of the seas off Puerto de Mogan as the shoals of fish that swim in them. It's a window on a weird and wonderful world of exotic marine life and shipwrecks that will unfold before your eyes during the 40 minutes this underwater adventure lasts.

The fun kicks off after pick-up with a bus ride to the southwestern village of Puerto de Mogan. Here, you'll board the state-of-the-art Golden Shark – that's its actual name but everyone calls it the Yellow Submarine – and take a seat in its comfy cabin. It has viewing seats, TV monitors and giant portholes, so you'll enjoy brilliant close-ups of everything that's going on above the seabed.

As you drop 25 metres down through the crystal-clear Atlantic, you'll encounter everything from shimmering shoals of sardines to tuna, jacks and other mysterious marine creatures. And keep your eyes peeled for the spooky, fish-filled shipwreck. An audioguide is available in multiple languages.

Submarine was a nice experience but the shopping at porta de morgan was sold to us by tui rep differently. Only 4 - 5 shops and all quite touristy. You dont get picked up at your hotel -have to walk 15 mins to meet the transfer. Then when you get to porta de morgan you have to walk 15 mins again to where the submarine is. We was told we got 2 hour shopping after but it was 30 mins before and 40 mins after. Audio on submarine wasn't great, bad music and not much facts about submarine and ocean

Absolutely appalling experience from start to finish. We booked this excursion specifically because it included transfers. During the booking process, we entered our hotel details, and at no point was it made clear that transfers wouldn’t be provided because of our location. If that was the case, the booking system should never have allowed us to book them. The whole process was completely misleading. On the day of the excursion, our transfer never turned up. After waiting, we called the helpl

The recorded audio is somewhat cheesy. The depths on the audio were for a story not what actually happened. A few messages from the submarine commander in real time would be better. Obviously thats difficult in 8 languages. The offer states 40mins immersion. This did not happen. Overall quite an impressive journey. I would be interested in an alternative trip if the option was available. Coach pick up was very efficient. Overall good value experience.

I found the experience enjoyable and memorable the staff were helpful and friendly, the submarine was good and well maintained the dive areas artificial reef housed plenty of Fish for all to see.
