The waters of the Straits of Gibraltar off the coast of Tarifa are among the most dolphin-rich in Europe. On this excursion, a marine biologist will teach you about the different species in advance of a two-hour dolphin watching cruise. You'll also enjoy a walking tour of Tarifa and some free time to explore this kite surfers' paradise.

It all kicks off with a walking tour of laidback Tarifa. Kite surfers come from all over the world to ride the waves at the spot where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet.

Then stroll over to the marine mammal research institute, where a marine biologist will reveal the dolphin species living off Tarifa – and how to identify them on your cruise. Spend two hours at sea admiring these friendly creatures in their wild habitat. You might also spot a whale or two. Finish the excursion with a few hours' free time exploring Tarifa at your leisure. The total tour duration will be around six hours.

Wir hätten es besser gefunden, die Freizeit in Tarifa nicht in Zeiten vor der Bootsfahrt und danach aufzuteilen, besser wäre aus unserer Sicht diese Freizeit zusammenhängend genießen zu dürfen. Das Boot war viel zu voll, die Sichtungen zu „genießen“ wie wir uns das erhofft hatten, war daher nicht gut möglich. Aus diesem Grund sind wir etwas enttäuscht

Der Vortrag vor der Bootstour war sehr gut, informativ und lebendig rübergebracht. Gut war auch, dass nicht zu viele Menschen an Bord waren, somit konnte jeder die Wale und Delfine sehen. Ausserdem hatten wir viel Zeit zum Fotografieren. Danke für das Erlebnis!!!
