Channel your inner James Bond as you drive your own speedboat through the Chacmunchuc lagoon. You'll cruise past tangles of mangroves, hiding iguanas, herons and tree crabs as you head towards the beautiful Isla Blanca. You can relax on the beach, snap some photos or simply bask in the Caribbean sun for a sweet 20-minute break. Then, zip back to Punta Cocos Marina for a post-trip beer before you're whisked back to your hotel.

1- the guide was rude telling me when we to the island that I couldn’t do so many curves with the boat (despite not having provided any instructions about that during the briefing) 2 - two of the boats with guests run out of gas during the trip… one of the 2 boats was the one I was driving (with my wife and daughter on board). A very nice experience if you like drifting with the wind. 3 - at the end, the “polite guide” had the gut to ask for a tip ignoring his behavior and the mess with the gas

The thorough safety checks were very good just incase of any accidents even though the precautions were 100% effective. The boat driving journey was good and exciting. Once we drove to the white beach we could swim and walk the sandy beach exploring the leftover turtle egg shells, jellyfish and other fishes. Pictures were taken of you driving the speedboat by their drone which you could purchase afterwards. An amazing experience and memorable too.

Know one was instructed to wear kill cords . A big Nono . I quired this and know one took me seriously disgusted! Needless to say I wore mine . Nearly back out over this it’s highly dangerous if someone should fall out of the boat
