From Olbia you'll weave through landscapes adorned with cork oaks on a tour that takes in some of Europe's oldest olive trees, Gallura's former capital - Tempio Pausania, and a light lunch. You'll also discover the unique Nuraghe Maiori, cone-shaped megalithic structures from the Bronze Age, and finish up in Calangianus, the center of cork processing, where you'll visit Arte Sughero for an insight into cork craftsmanship.

Enjoyable day. The guide had to speak two languages and at times particularly at the cork factory we she let the host do the English bits the guide would ask the host a question and interpret into German but the host would not do the English just speaking directly to the guide in Italian.

Wir haben viel über Kork, die alten Olivenbäume und die Nuraghen erfahren. Nichts über die Verarbeitung von Granit.

Overcrowded minibus not coach in which was broken. Not picked up from hotel having to walk 1/2 a mile to be picked up on a main road. Tour Guide walking off and leaving me my partner and a disability guest to find our own way, this happened on many occasions. Un suitable for people with walking issues. A un valuable for money trio. Basically a cramped 12 seater minibus taxi which i couldnt sit next to my partner to enjoy first time in italy. Plus having booked a tui trip for it to cancelled.

Overall nice trip but as the guide had to give English and German commentary we found that we didn’t get as much information as we would like. Also could not always understand what she was saying.

More time was spent on the coach than actually experiencing the surroundings. Very surreal to be herded off the coach to walk uphill on uneven ground (which proved difficult for a lot of the older group members and was not mentioned at the time of booking) to look at a tree that you could not get close to. Cork factory was interesting, but too much time allotted to this when more time could have been allocated to exploring the town we stopped at. Inclusive food was excellent.
