If you're in search of postcard-perfect sights and typical Croatian food, then this tour is just for you. You'll journey along the coast from Split, through the mountains and on to the coastal town of Omis. There'll also be a boat trip up River Cetina, where lunch awaits at a local restaurant.

We'll set off in pursuit of stunning Dalmatian scenery along Makarska Riviera, gradually winding our way over the mountains to Omis. Hop on a boat to cruise your up the River Cetina, watching it carve through the deep gorge as it winds from the highlands down towards the teal-tinted sea.

We'll disembark for a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, followed by some free time to relax by the river. After the cruise back downstream, it's time to explore Omis and its colourful history. You'll finish the day wandering the churches, fortresses and narrow streets – once walked by the notorious Omis pirates.

This was an amazing experience and the tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable regarding history of Croatia. We all found it so interesting to learn about the Pirates and the Vatican's etc. A few stops made to take some photos, and the views were stunning. The Olive Oil Museum and tasting was great too - bought lots as it was all hand made. The river boat that took us to the secluded Restaurant on the River was an added pleasure. We loved this experience and would highly recommend this trip.

The guide (Tinkerbell) was very knowledgeable and excellent company. The trip itself was very interesting with our guide imparting a lot of historical facts relating to the area. The river trip was pleasant and invluded some amazing scenery. The restaurant and food was also high quality. The restaurant itself was very pleasant but sone air conditioning would have been welcomed. All in all, an excellent day.

The guide was knowledgeable. Views were beautiful. River trip was very calming and tranquil. Food in the restaurant was a traditional meal, but alternative options could be offered in the future. Only downside was the minibus was a little uncomfortable for the amount of time spent onboard.

The coach was late collecting us meaning we only got 45 minutes in Omis so didn’t have time to see the fortress after the short tour from the guide. We did have time for a coffee and a wander though, which was lovely. The river boat trip was lovely, very tranquil and scenic. The included lunch was delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Goede tourgids met nuttige info zeker aangezien hij van Omis zelf kwam. Mooie view point haltes met schitterend uitzicht. Mooi stadje Omis. De riviertocht was leuk maar verder niet veel bezienswaardig. Het eten in het restaurant incl wijn was heerlijk. Excursie was het zeker waard en een aanbeveling.

This was an amazing experience and the tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable regarding history of Croatia.
