After a brief introduction, you'll have the day to stroll along the wooden waterside walkways and admire the scenery. But the park's crowning glory is Skradinski Buk – a huge natural pool with 17 cascading waterfalls bursting through the trees. Tomislav adds, “The fairytale tiers of Skradinski Buk were formed by layers of travertine limestone building up from the mineral springs that feed it.”You'll stop here for a snack at a local restaurant with a view that you'll want to lock away and remember for ever. You've then got all afternoon to explore the park for yourself. You can go wildlife spotting along the trails, as nightingales, herons, falcons and owls are all regulars here. Plus, the water is so see-through-clear here that it's easy to spot fish in the waters of the Krka River. Simply strolling through the park's walkways gives you a whole new appreciate for the power and artistry of Mother Nature.

In this protected conservation area, you'll glide through the clear water, with a good chance of spotting herons, egrets and pygmy cormorants. There are over 300 species of birds here among the other wildlife, so keep an eye out for some more unusual finds, like colourful kingfishers, black and yellow fire salamanders and vibrant Balkan green lizards.Past Lake Kuti, you'll stop for lunch at Neretva House Tavern, which can only be reached by boat, for a feast of traditional Dalmatian dishes. Rafting Cetina River

Amazing landscapes and adrenaline-pumping adventure are the name of the game in this River Cetina rafting excursion. You'll make your way along the Dalmatian coast towards Omis and then climb up the western slopes of the Dinaric Alps to the starting point. The descent ends a few hours later in the lower Cetina gorge.We'll head to Omis – a pretty town at the mouth of a rocky gorge on the River Cetina. From here, we'll drive up into the mountains. On arrival at the launching pad for the descent by raft, you'll be given a quick safety briefing and kitted out with wetsuits, helmets and life vests.Next, you'll take a seat in your raft, ready for a ride through the rugged canyon. Expect fast-moving rapids and calm currents as the raft skims, spins and glides over the foamy water. Your rafting adventure lasts about three hours, before ending at the lower gorge. Here, you can leave your rafts behind and jump into the river for a dip or explore the neighbouring forest.
