A trip along ever-changing south Dalmatian coast from Dubrovnik takes you to the tiny country of Montenegro – a land of great natural beauty and immense cultural heritage. You'll explore Kotor, Perast and the island of Our Lady of the Rocks during this full day tour.

The day kicks off in Perast, where you'll visit the small island of Our Lady of the Rocks and the church bearing the same name – famous for the 68 frescos painted by one of the masters of the baroque fresco painting, Tripo Kokolja. Our next stop will be Kotor – a UNESCO-listed fortified medieval town, which is presented in its full beauty during a guided tour.

You'll have free time here, too. Drop into the famous St Tryphon Cathedral – considered a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture – and the Maritime Museum, or soak it all up with a drink in the square.

The guide was incredibly friendly and she was very knowledgeable! We thought the value for money was good and we felt safe the whole time from our driver to our guide completing regular head counts to ensure everyone was with us. However, we were told when booking that the bus would be air conditioned but only the tiniest bit of air was coming from these vents and it was incredibly hot and uncomfortable journey due to this, there was also no windows to open.

The trip itself was great the guides were very good and the scenery is stunning around Kotor but consider / be aware that against this the fact that the border control wait times on the Croatian side are awful ( exiting Croatia was over an hour and re-entry was over 2 hours and nothing to do with that UK no longer in EU not much fun when the bus AC was on last legs) Also worth noting the visit to Lady of the Rock - shoulders and knees have to be covered to allow entry.

Place and boat trip were fine but could of had longer in Perest and Kotor. Guide on coach very poor, not much interaction and spoke mainly in French to French people on trip. Not impressed with him. Female English speaking girl in Kotor was very nice and engaging. Not enough time i each place though. We left Kotor at 2pm to head back to Croatia!!!!! Why so early????

-Driver/Guide were rude and very snappy -Not enough toilet breaks, they'd expect you to wait for several hours at a time -Majority French speaking tour, other members of the tour spoke loudly over the guide when she was speaking in English -Driver drove erratically, and inches off the car Infront and felt unsafe -Tour guide dismissed our concerns and told us to sit down or shoo'd us away -Kotor tour guide 20 minutes late -Too much time on the bus -Not enough time Kotor -Unhelpful
