After being picked up, you'll be whisked to your hike's starting point and follow an experienced guide into the Anaga Mounrtains. Prepare to see this Biosphere Reserve's impressive array of volcanic landscapes – gorges hemmed in by jagged peaks, dense forests crammed with rare vegetation and villages where time seems to have stood still.

This hike is a great chance to uncover one of the island's hidden corners, almost unknown to visitors. There'll be stops at the best vantage points and your knowledgeable guide you will fill you on Tenerife's the flora and the fauna along the way. This is the great outdoors in full majesty.

Left at 9h00 (very human time). 2 Comfort breaks prior to the hike (30 min and 10 min). Hiked for about 3h30-4h00 (was 3h originally but we had to detour for safety reasons due to wet weather). about 9-10 km. Amazing. Great views, super interesting laurisilva forest to appreciate, nice geology features and stunning mountain views at cloud level. The guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. 1h lunch break. Definitely recommend hiking shoes, trousers and a light rain jacket.

Really enjoyed this trek. Wasn't a difficult trek compared to what I've done before but I appreciated this was easy going given the temperature. Guide was very informative and friendly. Stunning views and definitely worth attending.
