The skies and atmospheric conditions above Teide – the highest mountain in Spain – are among the best in the world for stargazing. You'll be driven high up into the craggy wilderness of the national park, with lots of photo stops along the way.

As daylight fades, watch the setting sun fire this landscape in a blaze of colour. Then, once darkness has fallen, we'll continue on to a special viewpoint where your professional guide will map out the night sky for you, explaining the starry constellations. And to top it all, a three-course dinner sets the seal on the whole magical outing.

It was an amazing experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it as did my son. I wouldn’t change it fundamentally although there are a couple of improvements. Firstly reps could mention need for warm clothes and travel sickness tablets. Secondly the meal was really quite poor quality and just about edible but was definitely the weakest part of the trip.

The whole trip was well-organised & well thought out. We felt safe & looked-after throughout the whole trip. Our driver was great & our guide, Jasper, had excellent knowledge. The food at our meal stop was very nice, & it was a relief to have as a gluten free option that was enjoyable. The only downside was that the moon was bright & distracting from a full view of the sky. Obviously this is out of anyone’s control, but perhaps guidance on what to expect would manage expectations ahead of time.

This was a great trip but at 79e each is a bit too much considering the meal wasn't very nice. Other wise a great experience
