Start your engines for a few thrill-pumping laps around Las America's go-kart track. Go head to head against friends and family around this 850 m outdoor circuit and see who comes out in pole position with a grand prix-style race. And with specially designed carts to suit adults, juniors and kids, everyone can get involved.

Tenerife's top karting circuit has family fun stamped all over it. Adults can find out who is the king or queen of speed, with a race against each other around the 850-metre-long track, while younger ones can join in with karts suitable for 7 to 13-year-olds. There's also the option of two-seater karts, as well as a range of activities for groups, too.

After a quick safety briefing from an expert instructor, you'll be kitted out with a helmet and be ready to race. It's the perfect experience for anyone who's ever dreamed of being a champion F1 driver. Lewis Hamilton, eat your heart out.

Important to know

Adults and children aged 14 or over will use a Sodikart SR4 Honda 270CC, 11CV
Children between 7 to 13 years or over 125cm will use a Sodikart LR5 Honda 200CC, 10CV
Children between 3 to 7 years or under 125cm, accompanied by an adult, will use a Sodikart 2-drive Honda 270CC, 11 CV
In order to drive children must be at least 125cm tall to reach the pedals. Children under 125cm and over 3 years are able to participate accompanied by an adult driver
Ticket is valid for any time during opening hours
Open from 10:00-20:00 everyday
Not suitable for expectant mothers or guests with back problems
Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time

Karts for the kids wasnt fast enough as my son didnt really enjoy it he would have rather had an adult kart.. but overall it was good fun..we do come from a racing background so my boy currently rides 400cc karts home ??

It was good that adults could race with kids at the same time but no safety briefing. The man who handed out helmets and showed us to karts did so without saying a word. No explanation of flag meanings etc and when one crashed and blocked bend they walked over to help without stopping rest of us.
