Funchal old town small-group walking tour

Really great guide who had good local knowledge and took us to all the main sites.

A nice little walking tour around the old town with details from our guide as we visited several local highlights. Our group did this on the first day as it seemed like a fantastic introduction to the island's history and local knowledge. The guide was fantastic, she gave us a lot of details and answered all questions. Very good value for money.

Wir waren nur zu zweit und hatten dadurch eine Exklusiv Tour mit unserem Guide David aus Östereich, der für ein Jahr durch ein von der EU gesponsertes "Stipendium" auf Madeira ist, hier aber nicht studiert, sondern die Walkingtouren durch die Altstadt von Funchal macht. Es war informativ, spannend, und hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Die Buchungsgebühr geht wohl zum Großteil an die Uni von Funchal.

Guide war kompetent, hat gut und viel erklärt und hat auch Fragen die nicht direkt mit dem Thema zu tun hatten beantwortet.

Die junge charmante Führerin hat gut und informativ geführt und erzählt. Die Organisation vorab hatte Schwächen: Falsche Terminangabe, keine genaue Treffpunktangabe, zu wenige konkrete Vorabinformation.
