Discover the east part of Madeira. After hotel pickup, start your tour by heading towards Pico do Arieiro, the highest mountain accessible by car and the third-highest of the island (1818m). Here you will be astonished by the fantastic views over the mountains and the nature of the island. Descend towards Ribeiro Frio located in the middle of the "Laurisilva" (local laurel forest). It's part of the World Heritage of UNESCO and a great spot to watch the nature.

Continuing along the north coast, you'll pass through Faial and arrive at Santana. This town is known for its typical and original thatched-roof houses. After lunch, admire Ponta de São Lourenço, with several rocky formations and impressive views. Last but not least, before returning to your hotel, visit Machico. It's the historic city where the discoverers landed on Madeira for the first time in 1419.

The guide/driver, Roberto, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We say lots of fabulous sites. I would recommend it as being better than the tour of the west of the Island. However, having been on the tours of the East and West of the Island I would be unlikely to recommend either to friends due to the totally cramped conditions in the bus. Unless you are sitting up front with the driver or on the front row there is absolutely no leg room. This is not good enough for a full day trip

Carlos the guide was very knowledgeable and a great driver. Only downside was pick up time given when booking in the App.An email or confirmation text would of been helpful.Great value tour and guide.

Trip ok, what let it down, guide went on regarding the plites of madeira people. We know they don't get paid a great deal, and that we understand. We felt we were rushed at the end. Mentioning tips at the top of his voice ? Need less information and more relaxing atmosphere.

Unser guide alberto war kompetent und sehr freundlich. Er hat die tour auf deutsch und englisch geführt. Kann man nicht besser machen. Absolute empfehlung. Kleinbus mit ca. 16 leuten.

De dame in kwestie gaf ons de geschikte uitleg..ze was zeer vllot in uitleg. Ik kan niet direkt iets negatief melden... Misschien een beetje roekeloos rijgedrag van de chauffeur,..maar das louter door mij te ervaren.
