Full-Day Auschwitz-Birkenau and Oskar Schindler Factory Tour from Krakow

4.5/5
37 reviews

Discover two of Krakow's most important historical sites in one day. Visit Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum and Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum with transportation from Krakow.

Your experience begins with hotel pickup and transfer in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. After the journey to Auschwitz-Birkenau, you'll join a guided tour of the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp. During the approximately 3.5-hour visit, explore both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, learn about the history of the Holocaust from a professional guide, and visit key historical sites including exhibitions, original camp buildings, the former gas chamber and crematorium in Auschwitz I, and the remains of the camp infrastructure in Birkenau.

After the guided tour, you'll have a short break before continuing to Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum. Located in Schindler's original enamel factory, the museum presents the story of Krakow under Nazi occupation through immersive and interactive exhibitions.

Admission to the museum is included. Please note that the visit to Oskar Schindler's Factory is self-guided and does not include the services of a museum guide. Most visitors spend approximately 1.5 hours exploring the exhibition independently.

The tour ends at Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum, located at Lipowa 4 in Krakow. Return transportation after the museum visit is not included.

Kept informed of timings. Coach on time- driver and guides lovely. Good day out. Timings while waiting for schindlers factory too long with nowhere to go but a couple of restaurants. Gap too long until 2.15pm tour. Too long spent at schindlers factory vs Auschwitz

The tour guide was excellent but the tour felt rushed and some of the main parts not visited but this could have been due to the heat and at the factory tour the crowds

Well informed guides and very good, helpful drivers. My daughter and I found both tours informative, challenging and important for preserving history, however, difficult.
