Auschwitz and Birkenau self-guided tour with transfer from Krakow

We booked self guided due to a foot injury and hearing the guided tours were fast paced. We arrived to find it was in fact a guided tour, which would explain the price difference from advertised. The guide was amazing, the tour group was small (7) and although fast paced we managed to keep up. Tour guide managed to find quiter spots to talk us through the awful experiences only going where other guides were for around 15 mins. Driver was punctual. Glad we done it at a ridiculously early hour

The trip was excellent however my only complaint would be that we arrived at Auschwitz for a 20 minute toilet break before being taken to Birkenau. The coach dropped us some distance away which meant the time we had there was very limited (around 20 mins) so we didn’t get to see as much as we would have liked.

Unclear about the coaches when they come to collect, we had three pull up at the same time and because none had any signs in the window to tell you the company it was very confusing fast! As you had to go round each coach and as you begin to panic that you are going to be left! Once on the coach the driver was lovely, very clear with instructions and very helpful

Aivan liian vähän aikaa kierroksella. Yli puolet jäi näkemättä. Kamalalla kiireellä piti juosta että ehtii 3,5h takaisin bussille.

Suosittelen. Otimme omatoimimatkan ilman opasta. Kuljetuksen järjestäjä oli huippu. Vaikka oli ”omatoimimatka” niin kaikki sujui viimeisen päälle. Yhteydessä oltiin ennen lähtöä ja varmistettiin lähtöpaikka. Kuljettaja ei ollut pelkkä kuljettaja, vaan opasti ja neuvoi vielä paikan päällä tarkasti, että retkemme onnistuisi täydellisesti. Oman kielinen opaskirja auttoi vielä paikan päällä reissun sujumisessa.
