Cast off into the sun-drenched seas surrounding the Eastern National Park and we'll cruise towards a beautiful beach surrounded by softly swaying palm trees, powder white sands and clear blue waters. Along the way, you can swim and snorkel beside shoals of tropical fish before stopping at a natural pool in the middle of the sea.

Once you're on dry land, you'll have plenty of time to stroll along the 1km-long private beach or just relax with a cocktail. Although Saona is one of the country's most-visited areas, there's an exclusive beach area reserved just for you. Another highlight is the lobster lunch at a beach front restaurant. And don't worry about getting thirsty – all your drinks are included.

Overall the experience was very good. The staff were all excellent & very friendly/helpful. The island is absolutely stunning & the sea crystal clear & just so warm. We saw loads of fish with our snorkels. I do have two negatives mind - the food was pretty poor & no organisation to it. Lots of dishes were empty when we went & hardly anything for the kids to eat. No sign of the private beach either - or at least we weren't told about it. Disappointing as we'd paid extra for it.

The trip itself—from boarding the boat to returning to the hotel—was great. It would help if water and a small bowl of fruit were available on the boat. Our first impression was worse: pickup HM Alma at 7:35, then almost an hour driving to other hotels, ending near Viva (10-min walk), so we missed breakfast (starts 7:30). Long waiting on the beach with three checks. I would suggest considering the use of participant stickers with color coding, which could make it easier to organize the crowd.

The only thing I did not like is on the catamaran they put hats on our heads and did not ask us if we wanted them Then they come around and collect money I feel we should have been asked first if we wanted them because they did not tell us they sell them , I Thought they were free

Yes well organised and our Guide Wellington was superb again . Second time we have had him this week . Only criticism was we were ferried from the catamaran to the island by a local tender and we were overcrowded and no life jackets as I could see . It was only a short journey but this needs sorting out as a health and safety issue

Op zich de toegeweze plaats waar men eet en rust is er wat over door de massa toerisme ,verder zijn er plaatsen die rustiger zijn. Men man ook een duurdere uitstap bestellen om dit te vermijden en meer te zien .we betaalde 55€ alles in Om t
