If you like the VIP treatment, you'll absolutely love this Blue Lagoon sailboat tour to Saona Island and Cotubanama National Park. Sailing from Bayahibe, you'll glide over the lagoon's translucent waters, soaking up the sunrays as you nurse a drink from the open bar. Lunch is at an exclusive beach club on Playa Palmilla. I was extremely disappointed with this excursion. During the boat tour, the captain stole a passenger’s bag. At first, the tour guide appeared to try to cover up what had happened, but eventually had no choice but to call the police. Watching the situation unfold was shocking and completely ruined the experience for everyone on board After that incident, I no longer felt safe or comfortable. It was impossible to enjoy the rest of the excursion because I was constantly worried about my family.

Took 3 boats to get to island. Staff gave out scarfs and then asked for $5, 10 minutes later. Island staff was rude with waiting on you. Told drinks were free then later charged. Food was nasty. No running water in bathrooms and toilets didn’t flush. Massages were weak and ladies spoke about you negatively in Spanish. Tried to charge more than agreed upon price. Would never recommend or return. Too many stops post return on bus. Everyone has a tip jar on each boat. Just greedy and money oriented

The tour guide only gave my wife the national park pass band and kept my band which was supisious The driver on the return was new and we have to use our GPS to give him directions to our hotel

Everything was great except for the pickup after the excursion. We were dropped off at a gas station to wait for the shuttle to our Resort. Thankfully, it arrived within about five minutes, but we weren’t given any information about how long we’d be waiting, so standing there without knowing what to expect was a little uncomfortable. Other than that, everything else was a great experience.
