Mix a bit of adventure with a relaxing catamaran cruise and you get an ideal Dominican day. First up, you can choose from eight activities at Scape Park in Cap Cana – an Hoyo Azul eco tour, an Iguabonita cave expedition, zip lining, horse riding, the Indigena las Ondas cenote, a waterfall safari, mountain biking or a beach getaway. Then top it off with a three-hour cruise.

A fantastic day trip with two contrasting elements. First we were off to Scape Park and a morning of varied activities from swimming in the Hoya Azul cenote, ziplining, to swimming under waterfalls. A morning was the ideal amount of time there. Then it was off to the marina and a two-hour cruise, with snorkeling and time having a few drinks at the shallow sand bar (completely with floating bar). The crew onboard were brilliant and made sure everyone had a good time without it being 'too party'.

Recommend doing trip. Good day out between 8am - 6pm. Did Scape Park first and half day plenty of time for us. Probably a great full day out for families. Not very busy and enjoyed walking the two trails (though kids might get bored on cultural trail.) Take mosquito repellant! Cruise fun, nice amount of time though would have liked more snorkelling time. Two stops (snorkelling / sand bar). Photos worth buying as all photos from park and/or cruise included in price. We got 86 photos for $59!

Our tour guide Black Panther was awesome! The boat crew was also great! We had an amazing time!

The trail to Hoya Azul was very muddy and slippery that I fell down getting myself all muddy. Some wooden planks along muddy areas would have helped. The catamaran crew were very nice. The snorkeling experience was great and the stop in shallow. Waters was perfect. Highlight of our trip.
