Adventure Boogies

4.3/5
259 reviews

This wild buggy ride through the Dominican countryside makes for a morning of adrenaline-pumping adventure. As well as rumbling through rustic villages, you'll visit an organic farm and cool off with a swim in a cenote. There's no better way to put a bit of oomph into your holidays.

After pick-up, we'll head to a ranch for a safety briefing and the lowdown on Terracross buggies. Don your helmet, put on your belt and give it some welly. You'll zoom across the backwoods to the co-op farm. Your guide will tell you about and let you try traditional Dominican products such as coconut oil, chocolate tea, tobacco, rum, cocoa and, of course, the world-famous coffee.

Buggy driving can be a messy business, so you'll round up with a chance to freshen up with a swim in a cenote – a natural spring of crystal clear water.

The bus ride was late. We showed up and were rushed through with little or no information about what was the plan English speaking on one side. Spanish on the other side with PA systems that talked over each other Sales was push on some people telling them they had to buy something Got in the utv no one really knew what group they were supposed to be in The people behind is in utv ran into the back of us very hard and no trail manager saw it I have done this event before and know trails skipped

Trip it self was fantastic. Great value for money. However it does feel like a trap to extract as much money from you as possible. 3 different gift shops visited with staff telling you that you NEED to buy the masks and goggles that are not cheap. Only thing that was included was the helmets.

Very well organised ! Enough time in the boogies, lots of muddy water splashes The cave was great and the right amount of time to have a swim and take photos Coffee tasting and rum tasting You do get covered in mud so I’d advise wearing something you may not be able to wear again and also take a plastic carrier bag rather than your beach bag as that will also get muddy All in all I’d highly recommend, well worth the money

Wouldn't waste my money again, your hassled as soon as you get there to buy stuff from the shop and pay for a photo package, then you drive for 5 minutes and your dropped off at the adventure park? Yes the swim in the cave was good but then your just sat in a classroom type setting so they can upsell their coffee and chocolate and pass it round for you to smell.
