Important to know

This is a working theatre and due to events, rehearsals and performances, the tour may occasionally not be available or may have to reschedule
The tour runs regardless of the weather. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring raincoats because the Globe Theatre is an open-air arena
There is a maximum of 6 participants per tour
Infants (ages 0-4) go for free and do not need to purchase a ticket
Tours do not go backstage and visitors cannot go on stage
Guided tours are in English, however free information sheets are available in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Simplified Chinese
Drinks are permitted on tours, as long as they are in a bottle or in a container with a sealable lid
There is a restaurant and cafe located on site
You must keep items of luggage and pushchairs with you: there is no cloakroom facility for the tour
