Following your guide, you'll explore the National Gallery, a museum that tells the story of European art, masterpiece by masterpiece. From its home in London’s Trafalgar Square, the Gallery collects and cares for some of the world’s greatest paintings – and shares them with everyone to see. Founded in 1824, the collection has more than 2,600 paintings.

After the tour, you'll enjoy an afternoon tea at the restaurant Ochre. The restaurant showcases seasonal British ingredients, blending international flavors and modern European cooking. You’ll be served afternoon tea and coffee with a delicious range of savory sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, and seasonal pastries.

Meeting point:

Getty Entrance, by the information desk. Head through the Getty entrance (group entrance) and go through the security barriers. You'll then head inside Annenberg Court and the tour will depart close to the information desk on the right-hand side. Please don't head into the main entrance of the gallery, this is for the public and not for booked tours. The meeting point for this tour up to 9 May 2025 is the Getty Entrance. Walk through the Getty entrance, up the stairs and pass through the security barriers, the tour will start by the Information Desk on the right. The meeting point from 10 May 2025 is at Sainsbury Wing, the National Gallery’s new main entrance located on Trafalgar Square (WC2N 5DN). Customers should make their way up the stairs to Level 2. The meeting point will be located on level 2, across from the audio desk, where they will meet their guide at the designated tour meeting point marked with a Meeting Point tour sign. The guide will be wearing a National Gallery Official Tour Guide yellow badge for easy identification.
