A shopping trip in Turkey is one of those must-do experiences. And this morning in Fethiye is great for bargain-hunting. You'll call into a shopping centre dedicated to Turkish souvenirs, haggle your way through the local market and enjoy some free time in the town centre.

You'll round off in the centre of Fethiye, where you'll have some free time to browse modern shops, boutiques and the bazaar area of permanent market-style stalls at your own pace. After a busy day of hitting the shops, you could pull up a pew at a street-side café for some Turkish coffee and sweet pastries.

We would have preferred longer in the market and shorter time in the town. The market is amazing and we preferred this to the town that was much more expensive and we found we didn't need as much time there.
