2 reviews

Join a small-group culinary journey to the heart of Málaga, where you'll uncover the authentic flavours of local wines, olive oils and tapas. This experience includes round-trip transport from central Málaga, accommodating up to eight guests, eliminating any need for personal vehicle hire.

Your adventure begins in Mollina, at a historic certified organic farm. Here, amidst ancient vines, almond trees and centuries-old olive trees, You'll learn how the landscape and traditional farming practices shape the region's produce.

Then continue to the bustling Virgen de la Oliva agricultural cooperative, a production site. Here, you'll gain insights into how grapes and olives are transformed into wine, olive oil and table olives. The areas explored during this visit will depend on the season, safety, and activity of the day.

Finish with a guided tasting session of five local wines and three olive oils, complemented by local olives and an individual tapas pairing tray. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned connoisseur, the explanations will help you compare aromas and flavours, and discover food pairings.

This exploration offers an unhurried way to connect with the countryside, appreciate local craftsmanship, and savour the flavours in your glass and on your plate. Bottled water and return transport to Málaga are included for your convenience.

Enjoyed the history and tasting - guide very knowledgable and first rate! Unable to see the actual workings of the establishment that was purely down to the time we went but would be helpful if we were advised prior to visiting
