2021 saw the creation of a new volcanic crater near La Palma. The volcano previously known as Cumbre Vieja erupted, completely changing the landscape west of the city. Hiking 6.5km on the newly christened Tajogaite – cracked mountain – you'll almost reach the crater. From here, awesome views of the lava flows and the Aridane Valley open up.

Wir sind pünktlich losgefahren und unser Guide war sehr freundlich, nett und hat uns sehr gut geführt und interessante Sachen erzählt und die gestellten Fragen, beantwortet. Wir hatten leider kein Glück mit dem Wetter. Es war sehr regnerisch, kalt und stürmisch. 🤷🏻‍♀️dafür konnte allerdings keiner etwas 🤣
