Madeiran wine, wildlife spotting and some thrilling off-roading combine with this trip. You'll venture along mountain roads to São Vicente valley, where you'll spend some time in a local vineyard. Enjoy a tour of the winery and a tipple, before we stop by Cabo Girão – one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Then, head to Funchal port and set sail in search of wild whales and dolphins.

Ideal combination of cliff-top viewing point, vineyard-tour/wine-tasting, and 3 hours boat trip - enjoyed them more than doing them individually. View from the wine tasting venue (and the wine itself) outstanding. Just one thing should have been better - Tui advising the itinerary when we booked (booked the experience before the holiday) so we had to guess (luckily we guessed right, and just had enough time to buy some lunch in Funchal between the wine and the boat trip)

This trip was fabulous! I could not recommend more highly. Our driver and guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and good fun. The ride was a bit bumpy at times, but that wasn't a problem for us. The views were pretty spectacular. The vineyard was lovely, the wine was good and our guide at the vineyard was fun too. Finally the catamaran was just brilliant. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and flying fish. We swam in the beautiful blue sea and enjoyed a few drinks too. Absolutely loved it!

4x4 driver was great and made it a fun and memorable experience. The Catamaran crew were fabulous and really seemed to care about the ocean wildlife. We saw bottle nosed dolphins and Mediterranean monk seal very close up. Beautiful
