A visit to Portugal isn't complete without a trip to Lisbon. This day trip to the capital includes a stop in Belém to see the elaborately decorated Jeronimos Monastery and Belém Tower. You'll then enjoy free time to explore Lisbon old town – go shopping, check out the Alfama neighbourhood, head to St George's Castle or hop on a traditional tram.

Die Gruppe war groß und auf eigene Fast habe ich sehr schöne Einblicke in die Schönheiten der Stadt bekommen. Insgesamt hat man ca. 4 Stunden um die Stadt zu entdecken und das reicht um sich einen ersten Eindruck zu verschaffen, zumal man von der Reiseleitung noch eine grobe Orientierung bekommt. Am Ende hatte ich die Plätze und die Brunnen verwechselt und es war besonders nett, daß die Reiseleitung dennoch auf mich gewartet hat und wir uns wiedergefunden haben. Dafür nochmals Danke.

Our guide Dominique was very knowledgeable and took time to show us the sights and different areas to visit in Lisbon. There is a lot of travelling but I thought it was worth it. Lisbon is a beautiful city…it gave us a taster of how much there is to see and do there.

Den Stopp am Kloster hätte man sich sparen können. 50 Minuten Aufenthalt und ein meterlange Menschenschlange. Keine Chance - und das nicht in der Hauptsaison. Dafür hätte der Aufenthalt in Lissabon länger als 3 Stunden sein können. Der Guide und Busfahrer waren sehr nett. Die Pflichtpause auf dem Rastplatz ok, da der Bus nicht über WC verfügt. Hatten die Tour auf Englisch, aber alles war gut zu verstehen.
