Embark on a thrilling raft adventure on the Chili River, conveniently situated just a short distance from Arequipa's central plaza. Despite its moderate flow, the river boasts exhilarating Class II, III, and IV rapids, making it an ideal choice for thrill-seekers in search of a safe yet exciting outdoor pursuit.
Your adventure commences with a pick-up from your accommodation, followed by a transfer to the base where you'll find all the necessary equipment. From here, you're taken to the starting point near the Grotto of the Virgin of Chapi in Charcani. Prior to setting off, your guide will conduct a safety briefing and provide instructions on how to use the equipment correctly.
The raft journey covers roughly 7 km and lasts approximately an hour and a half. You'll navigate the river in rafts that can accommodate up to five participants plus one professional guide. This ensures both safety and excitement are maintained throughout your journey down the river.
