Head out on this guided boat tour to Rio Lagartos, a small fishing village in the Rio Lagartos Biosphere Reserve. You'll start the tour at Las Coloradas, home to pink lakes and a large sea salt harvesting industry. Then, you'll head to Rio Lagartos for a boat ride through the mangroves. This place is known for its wildlife – your guide will help you spot native birds often found hanging around here, like pink flamingos, pelicans and eagles. To wrap things up, you'll head to a traditional a Mayan bath for a soaking session – they use nutrient-rich clay as well here to help soothe and exfoliate your skin.

The guide instead of helping me was watching and laughing. I received assistance and medication (Iwas bleeding) from one of the park guides. 3.on the boat my guide didn’t speak English plus our boat broke in the middle of the river so I missed all the infos and the program. Only one stop to watch the animals :(

Rio Lagartos war super, gute Botsfahrer/Guides und sehr schönes Erlebnis mir den Tieren. Die Salzienen war cool mal zu sehen aber das wars dann auch schon.

De reis er naar toe was erg lang vanuit ons hotel Riu Playacar, we zijn heen 4 uur onderweg geweest en terug 3 uur. De lange reistijd kwam door de afstand maar ook door verschillende ophaalpunten en wissels van personen duurde het 1,5 keer zo lang.. we hadden een leuke gids bij las Colorados masr ze sprak alleen spaans helaas, wel heeft ze hele leuke foto's gemaakt van ons.
