Taking in both ‘Italy's most beautiful kilometre' and ‘the Calabrian Venice,' this tour is big on beauty. First up is free time in Reggio Calabria, the ‘toe of Italy'. Then, it's onward to the fishing village of Scilla. Enjoy a guided walk around Chianalea, before an optional visit to the medieval castle.

Start off in Reggio Calabria, where you can stroll along the statue-lined promenade with views across the Strait of Messina to Sicily, or visit the Museum of Magna Graecia, home to the renowned "Bronzi" of Riace. For the shopping aficionados, Corso Garibaldi offers chic boutiques.

Your day continues with a visit to the charming Scilla, known as the 'Calabrian Venice.' Here, you'll find a medieval castle perched above the Strait of Messina, great for panoramic views. Wander the picturesque fishermen's district, where houses stand as if dipping their toes in the water.

Enjoyed the places we visited but didn’t enjoy the guide who had to deal with a mixed nationality group and struggled with the microphone. Lots more info was given to the German guests than to us. H&S was very poor. We were left at a truck stop waiting for the coach for 45 mins in full sun then once we joined the coach we stopped 5 mins later for a comfort break at proper services! The guide rushed the group some of whom had mobility issues. We helped them to reach the Piazza. More concerns.....

Initial pick up in mini bus was on time but our transfer to coach was delayed by 30mins due to one of the passengers being ill. There was not much leg room. The guide was not Italian and she had only lived in the country for 10 years and she talked alot about her personal life. We need information on the tour we are doing. Considering Reggio is a city we were not impressed. We did not come to see all the expensive shops and cathedrals are of a plenty. The only highlight of the tour was Scilla.

Organisation könnte verbessert werden - Wartezeit nach Zubringer bis zum Reisebus zu lang (25-40 min.) Sitze im Reisebus selbst viel zu eng - große Menschen kamen mit ihren langen Beinen gar nicht in den Sitz und mussten schräg sitzen - das trübt das Erlebnis schon sehr

Während der Busfahrt wurde fast nichts erklärt und vor Ort sehr wenig. Wir sahen nicht mal due Ausgrabungsstätte des römischen Bades. In Scilla wurde uns gesagt, wie wir selbst auf das Castell kommen. Wichtiger war der Reiseleiterin ihre eigene Pause. Das war ein Shuttle zu 2 Ortschaften. Unmöglich
