We were not told about a 20 euro per person insurance waiver that had to be paid when collecting helmets. It wasn't mandatory but basically you are scaremongered into the fee. I was under the impression that you are covered when booking the excursion. Many others were not happy with the fee either.

The experience was amazing and getting to see the northern lights was a real highlight. What wasn't so good is that we were sent an email saying the trip would be at 12pm on the Monday, however on arrival to the resort we were told it would be at 7.30pm that evening. The kids were too tired after the early morning flight and as such they cried and were upset almost the entire way round. Making the timings clearer would be very beneficial for families.

The tour was really good, though a little drawn out.....we stopped several times for road crossings, which whilst understandable, took away from the momentum of travelling in the snowmobiles. This in turn, also made the 3 hours longer than it maybe needed to be - maybe a different/better route could be considered? The tour was also very careful in terms of speed limits, etc, and therefore I believe the age of children allowed to travel on back of snowmobile could be lowered as a consequence.

The TUI reps in the resort where excellent. The hotel and food was very good. Only bad points are the experiences where expensive and not what they said on the tin. All TUI staff where brilliant apart from the cabin staff on the return journey. My young child had an accident in her seat and we asked for help. We where rudely told to wait. It was as though selling the duty free was more important than helping out a small child on the flight.
