The Quinta Essentia Ensemble was set up in 2020. It's a group of young, talented musicians who specialise in performing music from the past in the way it was originally played. Based in Croatia, they aim to expand and promote the European tradition of early music, seeking to elevate it to new heights and broader recognition.

This way of thinking is the basis for their upcoming performance at the 2025 Dubrovnik Summer Festival, which is called "Il delirio amoroso" – the love delirium. The concert promises to be a unique exploration of early music, offering audiences a chance to experience the ensemble's innovative approach to this traditional art form.
